3rd TPM in Turnhout, Belgium
In a pivotal gathering held in Belgium, organized by The Square Dot Team and hosted at Blenders’ premises, stakeholders from across Europe came together to advance the Buddy Migrants project.
This meeting, spanning over two days, was a melting pot of ideas, showcasing Blenders’ foundational pillars and delving into the societal needs across Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, and Austria. A significant pivot was the consensus to develop a desktop-friendly educational platform, moving away from the initial smartphone app approach, after insights revealed a preference for laptop usage among educators for learning and resource gathering.
The meeting underscored the importance of minimal registration steps for platform users, aiming for ease of access while balancing security and privacy concerns. The upcoming steps include presenting a mock-up of the platform to gather final feedback before development and organizing MULTIPLIER EVENTS in each participating country to ensure the project’s longevity and impact. This transnational meeting not only set the stage for the next phases of the Buddy Migrants project but also reinforced the collaborative spirit among the partners.
