Onilne Kick Off
On the 19th of April, 2023, our consortium met digitally for the first time. The confirmation that this project was selected to be carried out, came as a nice surprise. The deadline for its start was in January and the conformation only came forward three months later in March – but all the partners of the consortium feel strongly about the topic and goals of Buddy Migrants so when the National Agency explored wheather or not this partnership was ready to take on this project, a strong ‘YES’ was the answer!
We jointly decided to hold our kick off meeting digitally, since soon we would be meeting in real life already for our first transnational project meeting. During our digital kick off meeting we allocated time to get to know each other and to express why education, integration and living well together is a personal quest for each of us.
We exchanged on various challenges within the contexts of the countries participating in the project, and agreed on a tailored approach during the executing of this project. And, we dream big: with project ‘Buddy Migrants’ we are hoping to lay the foundation of a durable service that impacts students’ and teachers’ lives for the better, providing innovative hubs for integration that conquer prejudices and stigma in a culturally intelligent way!
