TurnUp academy is geared towards enforcing a strong hub for youngsters to explore and unlock potential so that they are able to take informed decisions on directions in secondary education. In pursuing this goal it is important not to isolate this initiative (which is the realization of work package 4 in Belgium) from the youth sector and the partners that are actively involved. In order to bring together strengths and expertise from various stakeholders, turnUp academy took the initiative to present itself at the Youth Welfare Consult on June 11th 2024 in the presence of 16 organisations and 27 motivated individuals.
The impact of this meeting? Eager ambassadors that will support referral of students towards turnUp academy, spread the word amongst schools and parents and be involved by sharing their expertise on youth in vulnerable contexts!
